I wouldn't use a used fuel pump either. IM not sure I would drop the coin for a Toyota OEM pump, but its your truck and I respect your decision and logic. best of luck , get it on the road soon...

Alright guys a lot of stuff is going on. Dad and his coworker took my bed off and my tank is rusted on the inside so I need a new tank. Anyone know a good place to buy one? And I ordered a toyota fuel pump. And I'm going to order a fuel filter too, might as well put that in too.
Secondly, I got into Radford. So I will be living in the mountains cause I can take my truck the first year. As a getting in present one of the guys that works with my dad is undercoating my underneath of my truck with toyota stuff so it doesn't rust. That's happening when I get the new tank.
Is anyone in the Blacksburg area? Is there any trails? I will have free time for that stuff hopefully .

My tank/pump was very rusty. Worked fine but leaked badly. Got a tank and pump off craigslist for $40. At that price, used parts are a good gamble for me, and this one has been working flawlessly.

alot has happened,
first thing is the starter went out on my 91, so i was without a truck all thanksgiving, getting it rebuilt tonight.
i worked 42 hours thanksgiving weekend, so i have ordered my feul pump from toyota, and im going to order my gas tank tomorrow. and im going to get a new fuel filter, why not have all new gas components?
hopefully that will fix all my running problems. next thing is i need new rear springs BAD, i want old man emu 2 inch lift springs but i cannot find a exact link for them, so if anyone has a link to one, send it my way. quicker i get that quicker i can do my lift and be driving it!

Do you think 300$ is a good price? Or ask more

Its a fair price. I usually try to give my buddies a deal with out going broke myself. Its a used set of gears but they are highly sought after and are already set up to swap in.

Today we agreed on 325$ I feel like I got a deal and he feels like he got a deal. That's almost half of my tires. That excites me a lot. Trucks gonna be running by the end of the week, I ordered the gas tank from low range offroad.

Today I was riding around with my buddy, he's got a 1993 toyota extra cab, v6 5 speed 3 inch body and changes from 33s to 31s and stock 4.30s. Well we went in some mud and some small hills and I felt like he had no power. My little 4 cyl woulda had more pull.
But one of our buddy's (1986 k1500 on 35s) said we can build a mud hole at his property so that will be starting soon.
