Front Sway-bar:

What each piece started as

Torsion bar from a 1990 Nissan pickup. It's about 35" inches long

welded washers to cap one side of each spline sleeve

Drivers Side arm

Passenger side

I used set screws to keep the arm from coming off the bar

4runner is turning out awesome! I like how you did your sway bars, clean Fab work as usual! Are you driving it now, or still have some stuff to finish up?

I finally got my 4runner lowered quite a bit. I put some factory landrover coils from a junk yard in the back and then adjusted my front coilover collars. I actually think its too low now as far as the amount of uptravel I have now but it will do until I get coil spacers or different coils. I have been driving it around in two-wheel drive with the 4.10's and it is awesome

I got to go play in some more snow on the 1st!

This was my one stuck of the day.

And then my dad got stuck trying to tug me out

Then I pulled my brother up one of the hills after he broke a front birf.

Wow.

What kind of fender flares are those. Will they work when I cut sheet metal?

They are bushwackers. (The biggest ones they make) They don't make them for a 4runner. Just for the pickups, so the front ones work fine, but I had to take another front set and flip them around and put them on the rear with a little trimming to the flare. I cut some sheet metal towards the back of the rear wheal wells, but you cant cut any at the top of the wheel-wells. On the second page there are some pictures of when I installed the rear flares.

Thanks. I looked over the thread again.

Do you think they would work still if I cut some metal near the door?

My tires hit there sometimes tearing up sheet metal. This spring I am doing rust removal so want to trim. I'll need to get fender flares when I move though so can't get carried away.
