got the trim on the top painted and got the top put back on. I have a few issues in the top that i will have to work out but it looks great.

I pulled the rear bumper back off to finish weld it and paint it Im hopeing to have that done today, then I will have to figure out somthing for a front bumper still working on ideas for that.
I noticed somthing that I didnt remember or have never noticed about my top yesterday, one of the slideing windows is just peice of plexi glass. I have good windows in my half top but I have no idea how to swap them around, have any of you guys done this?

That looks GREATTT!!! The top has enough black to accent the upper half. Really like what I am seeing. Just for a refernece for others and angle of light, I would say in front of the rear wheel area and forward is the truest color that I have seen of the other pictures.
When you get into to swapping the side glass just holler. I kind of have my feet on the floor and knees in the rear seat and with left elbow on passenger upper corner of glass/frame near front door, and using my whole forearm to spread the pressure to push the glass assembly out. Mark has done this as well and might have a tip or two that he can throw in. I have a narrow paint scraper availible and I would try to keep all of the glue on the shell or the glass frame. I hear that it can be reused, though I have never installed one.
Jason...You ought to be proud, it keeps looking better. Way to go.

Got a few random things done on the runner today, couldnt seem to consentrate on one thing long enough to finish it, anyway progress is progress.
installed my 2nd gen dome light

installed and wired my map lights

I was also able to remove my bad window out of the top

I couldnt beleive how much dirt was traped behind the L trim, terry and I spent a fair amount of time washing this thing still tons of dirt.

I also got my anttena installed, seat brackets installed, and started sorting thru my many boxes of interior parts. started cleaning and preping a few parts for paint. I may actually get a little of that done tonight. a couple weeks ago I ordered fabric to do my rear seat panels and the door panels but it hasnt came in yet. wont be long now LOL, thanks for checking in.

I have been itching to see how this interior paint was going to look, so I decided to head back out to the shop for a bit and see how much more I could get done.
started with a few grey pieces that need a color change

after 2 good coats the looked really good, sill plate

A pillar trim

I know I know the pics suck LOL, I was excited about how good it looked I didnt take pics before I installed them.
tailgate top plate

and one cargo area panel

the paint is matching the old interior very well, Im really hapy with this process thanks to terry for explaining the proper way to do it because my last attempt was a disaster.
one other thing if you notice in the pic of my tailgate there is a panel laying on the gate, is that the proper plate to cover the opening? if so thats kinda a joke.
like I said my fabric should be here in a couple days, Im really excited to get started on those panels now and I hope you guys like the direction Im going to go with it. thats it for now thanks for checking in.
