been getting a little done every night really happy with the progress, a few problem areas are finally starting to work with me and the rest is going smooth so far. not to exciteing but heres a few pics.

this area behind the wheel well on the pass side has been a real pain as I warped the panel welding in the new section I know it looks like a lot of filler but 1 it hasnt been sanded and 2 when it is it will be no more than a dime thick in most spots.

not sure yet if I will make my goal of getting it in primer before I leave out but Im really working towards it, thanks for checking in guys your interest means a lot.

well still at home and trying my darndest to get somthing done, starting to get a bit burnt out on the filler work tho there is still a lot to get done I decided to change gears a little, since the tail gate has some issues and the fact that I have some repair to do from the install of the pickup tail gate I decided to work on those things a bit.
because I dont have all the proper tools somtimes I have to improvise, I dont have a stud gun or a slide hamer sooooooo this is my redneck way of pulling dents.
first tack weld some small nails in the dent.

grab with a pair of vise grips and go to work as best I can with a hamer.

grind the nails off and the tacks smooth.

and the finished product, not perfect but plent good to finish out with a little filler.

started welding these holes shut and ran out of wire in the welder.

I did work the filler a little more as well nothing pic worthy but Im gaining on it I sure dont have terrys feel for this sort of thing but Im doing the best I can.
thanks again for checking in.

You have been making alot of progress. Starting to see to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Having to come up with ways of getting things done is one thing that does put some fun and pride into getting it done. Creativity goes along ways and alot cheaper.

Well I wasn't able to get it in primer but I gave it a heck of a shot, the body work that needs done just seems to keep growing. I'm happy with what I got done and I'm determined to get the rest knocked out. Any way that's the update thanks for checking in.

Just got done looking at your first pages of your build, is this the same truck? You have come along ways and looks like you made some big steps lately. Great job.

You'll get it, man... and when you do.................... You'll look around and say, "WHAT THE HECK DO I DO NOW?" hahaha.. JK< I know you'll be stoked... but still, you know 'THAT' feeling, right? lol.
I second Terry's sentiment.... CAN'T BELIEVE it's the same rig.. and I would LOVE to have you or Terry help me paint mine! Especially would love the help of a semi-pro in the 'paint' dept. when it comes to reapplying new 'decals'!
