Thanks man! Well the truck broke Down on me on the freeway the other day... Towed it home and it has no spark so we started changing out parts off my buddies 4runner.. I've done the coil the igniter and the PCM and still no spark... Gonna check if its the cam or crank position senser hopefully it's that and not just a broken wire somewhere along the line

Yep sounds like you have a wire thats possibly rubbed through and grounding out maybe?? Weird that you have no spark unless it runs off a fuse thats blown?? By the way to think they were gonna scrap that thing??!! You saved its life you should get a trophy or somethin hahaha!! Really like your build thread doin a great job. Looks like you have some great places to go in cali. Never been there but seems like alotta fun. Good luck on your wiring im not to helpfull on the 3.0s?? but apparently it does have a crank sensor you say?? i def know that will cause a spark issue if its at fault or not operating because of your wiring problem.

yeah man thanks man i love my tuck even though its still broken u should make a trip out if u ever get the chance.... so i have been tinkering on it after work and on the weekend and it turns out that a wire(which i havent found yet><) shorted out and killed my fuel pump and keeps blowing the EFI fuse on the truck so i replaced the pump and the fuse and the truck will fire for about 1/4 second then the fuse pops again

As far as your fuel pump could it have been from it constantly staying on?? Like maybe a bad relay is stuck on?? Hace you traced wires from your key to your ecm?? Sorry if im back stepping you lol night shifts are rough on the brain

As far as the efi fuse goes, check your o2 sensor wire harness. It likes to fall onto the exhaust and burn thru the insulation / wires. Fix the wires and change the fuse and u should be good to go. Ask me how I know

Wow, that makes alot of sense actually, Dude, Kennys dad had a similar issue with this on his blue 89 pick up.... Sounds incredibly familiar now that I recall!

Glad I could help bud. It should go without saying but make sure you secure the wires after you fix them. i zip tied mine to the torsion bars. good luck and keep us posted. I love your truck.
