Any good ideas for a cheap bracket to mount lights to a roll bar? I do not want to drill into the bar itself, but the cheapest brackets I have found are pricey (PIAA brackets)...any ideas? I see you have your lights on the front, but your older threads say you were considering mounting some to a roof rack...just curious what research you have done. Let a Texan know!

lights on a roll-bar: there are 2 ways to do it, the cheap way and the welding way

cheap: get some pipe holders that'll fit around the roll bar. attach the light to the mounting hole.

weld: weld metal tabs where you want the lights, then drill holes to mount them. much more sturdy.

and for my update today:
crossed over 185k today. sweet.
one of my tires (the oldest one that was on the truck when i got it) got a small barb in it. i pulled it out and soap-n-watered it. no leaks from the hole, but lots of minuscule leaks all over the tread (in-between the tread). tire pressure seemed fine, but i'll keep an eye on it.

center console: one of the best mods to date, along with the e-fan. it's great knowing that i'm not cooling the engine more than i need to

Your eFan indicator looks good, mine are just wedged between my radio and the plastic trim area, i wanted to see how bright they were before i aimed them anywhere.

thanks. just some sharpie, plastic, wood, and jb-weld. i already had the panel insert with the hole, and i wanted to move the lights (really want to re-mount them correctly in the cluster), so that's where i put them. also, they're daylight visible

the led's are bright facing head-on, but have a narrow beam angle.

i have a shot of it at night. looks pretty cool, i'll get it up later

Sorry for my derrrrrrrrrr question, lol. Center Console? I'm thinking I'm remembering right when I say, 'you had a bench w/out console before? Then you put in Mustang Seats and a Console? ..... I'ma look back in a few when I have more time, haha.

this weekend, i have a few exhaust gaskets to install, and some grease to apply. that's it for now
