Gilbert72's 94' pickup build

hey guys, just picked up another yota for myself. this truck was used as a hunt truck and winter driver by the previous owner. however prior to him, it was owned by a toyota salesman who had it rebuilt from several trucks. the cab shows no signs of rust, floor is 100%, frame is also in excellent condition. new transmission very low mileage, and the tires are like new. however the interior is in need of some loving.

here she is on the outside...

and the hurting interior.. now somewhat clean

my plans for the truck at this moment are to just get it on the road for the winter. as far as i can tell i will need... windshield, e-brake, idler arm and possibly some brakes and brake lines. aside from that all is well.

future plans include some bj spacers and shackles with 33's and some paint. aswell as some custom bumpers, aluminum skid plate and backrack in my fab class.

Wow! You got the rare genuine dog fur interior, only available in '94! It wasn't available in 1995 because of PETA...

In all seriousness, I can't wait to see what you do with the truck.

Small update for everyone, here we go...

since buying the part truck i've slowly been stripping the interior, slowly due to the fact i'm working outside. I've also installed a new SONY head unit and SONY rear speakers and wiper blades that needed to be changed sooooo so bad.

and here we have my current project for truck..

cut the center of the grill

then i build a mounting bracket and painted it..

and this is where it's at now.. well sort of, this pic was taken before the mount was built so the final mounting location will be slightly different.

hopefully i'll have it all wired by this afternoon

and for everyone's enjoyment... this is the rad in my part truck, i've never seen anything as bad

From what I can see, the parts truck actually looks like it's in good shape, unless there's something I'm not seeing. You should keep it running.

The grill mod should be pretty cool! I was thinking about doing something like that with mine, but only with 2 lights. It would put my driving lights higher and it would give me an opportunity to mount fogs down where my driving lights are on the valance.

Well for the parts truck... It has 348xxxkm a blown HG, trans needs a rebuild amd the can is literally rotten, where the door mounts to the cab is no longer structural one bit, floor is toast, both doors are rotten thru.
