This is a near perfect model for my next build.
Going from a taco to a long travel 3.4 swaped 2nd gen runner.
Sweet build man, i would have retained the factory rear coil setup for ride quality but i really cant argue with your resluts.
good job
What tire size are you running?

When you lift it tall though, the ride sucks ass. It rides really good with the leafs and flexes good enough for what I'm going to use it for. Also, putting the T-100 axle in would have been a huge PITA if I would have retained the link setup

thats interesting that leafs would ride better.
I always assumed that even with the geometry being a little off that coils would ride better then leafs because leaf springs have to continually break the statci coefitiant of friction.

Thanks man. I've got the 3.4L in the engine bay, but it still doesn't run, so you're gonna need a flatbed or car hauler, lol

Ah, nice... I already have a bracket lift on mine and have the blazeland sitting in the garage waiting to go on. Just gotta get new bj's and what not...
have you ordered a megasquirt yet? When I did my 3.4 swap I just reused the factory ecu but I'd like to convert to a stand alone when I get a chance to boost it like you want to do!

Engine is in. Still have to wire up the ecu though. Here's a video of using the starter to shoot all the fluid out of the cylinders after long term storage
