I only have one parking space, so the vehicle I have is the vehicle I drive. I only go rock crawling a few times a year, I mainly cruise around on easy/moderate Forest Service roads and do a lot of snow bashing.

I've come to the conclusion that my rig is overbuilt for most of the the trails I run, and DD duty. It makes more sense to have a less built and more comfortable rig that might struggle on the hard trails but is more comfortable the other 300 days a year. So I bought a 3rd Gen. 4Runner that will get a "Mild" build.

Wow. Just wow. I'm sure you've thought this through, but I can't understand how anyone could part with a rig that gorgeous. Add to that the fact that you built it yourself. Just wow.

But it's your rig. Good luck with the sale. Make DARN SURE she goes to a good home! If I had that kind of money I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Thanks! It's pretty hard to go though with it, but I think it's the right thing to do. I would rather it go to a good home than get cut up or get an engine swap. It's an awesome rig that will make somebody very happy!

This is one of my favorite rigs on YT. It will be sad to see it go, but I'm sure your creativity and craftsmanship will find their way to the 3rd gen. I hope whoever buys it takes as good care of it as you have.

Thanks! A 3rd Gen will be fun to build and a more practical all around vehicle. I'm pretty sure that whoever buys the 4Runner will take care of it. It's too nice not to!

Thanks guys! The Turbo 4Runner needs to sell before I start any new project. When it does I'll let you know.

Sub'd for ideas for mine. IFS LT instead of SAS, but lots of other relevant ideas. Great build, dude, found this thread through your FS ad. Good luck!

I need to sell the Turbo 4Runner before I can start on the 3rd Gen. I've mainly been doing research, finding pictures of rigs I like and figuring out what they are running. I'm new to this whole IFS/coil spring stuff!

Once the 4Runner sells I will start a build thread.
