Hey Irab88 - Thanks, I've couldn't of done it with out my friends as one has the tools/garage and the other is to fix our screw ups.

As for the bolts I know we had to replace some from the last rebuild (others could have been there even before I bought it). For peace of mind, I'm buying new ones knowing they are the exact fit. Of course, this is after everything is back on. I should have bought them before putting everything back together.

Other then that nothing seems to be leaking or is wet. My issue is the idle which I think i screwed up tinkering with the distributor. Throttle body seems a little sticky. RPMs are hanging around 1k-1200 and when I give it a quick rev the needle drops back to 700ish but it shakes.

it may not be the throttle itself, but rather the throttle cable. i had that issue in my truck for a while.

I'll have to take a look and see if i can tighten it. I consider it still brand new (2 years) When the shop put it on.

If you tap the peddle it it'll hang. You'll have to tap it again hoping it'll go back down or if you're under the hood, push it down with your finger. I noticed the stop screw is gone Too.

Wonder if the guy took it out when he readjusted my TPS a few months back

Correction. I was watching a youtube video and NO, that is the original cable that I have. The shop replaced the hood cable.

Hmmm, replace? 100 bucks on 22reperformance.com

try putting some graphite in the cable (down the tube from each end, if that makes sense) and work the cable back and forth

Since the truck is in the shop now and will be there for several days for detailing, I've decided to just buy a new cable.

So, again, i'm without my truck for the next week.
