Your post count goes up on each post every time you post (if that makes sense). If you go back and look at your first post, it will have the same post count as your last.

I finally got the truck back from the guy doing the exhaust work. He ran the pipe too close to the clutch so it hits the pipe and only gives me about half clutch. He can't get to fixing it until Tuesday or so, which is why I brought it home and worked on it.

I jumpered the data link to run the fuel pump for a tiny bit and then fired it up. It ran! It was starting like it had a bad battery but I finally found that I had missed hooking up the negative cable from the starter, I'm surprised it was starting. I warmed it up and then timed it and took it out driving to break in the engine. Shifting is a pain with only half a clutch but I was able to not fully stop most of the time.

Here is a video. The video in the previous post is a link so you have to click on it. I'm hoping this one will work in the same page.

I don't know if you can have a video play in a post? Just click on the link in the last post and the picture in the post before that...

Whats the plan for the clutch clearance? Is the exhaust shop going to fix it?

Yeah, the guy at the shop said he wouldn't get to it until Tuesday, so I will just drive it over there then. He claims it will only take 10 minutes to clearance it. I hope so

Everything seems to be running good now. Except for my alternator went out during my last outing. I barely made it back. It's still a 3.slow but it gets around great in the mountains. I love it. Fuel mileage seems a bit low but I don't remember what I used to get. I might mess with the timing a bit yet, since I was reading on here that some guys aren't using the factory timing.

I changed the alternator out and it all seems to be working great. Messed with the timing again, but it seems to keep changing on its own.... It will idle at different speeds so I'm not sure at which one to set it. Plus the jumper wasn't changing anything so I just set it to 10 degrees at the slower idle without a jumper. I have been too busy to investigate it any further. Just seems like my MPGs are really low. I will have to do some searches on here for what others are getting.

Thanks, BMAC92 ! I'm glad it's still running. I can't recall the brand of the lift, but it came on the truck when I got it. It has about 3.5 inches of lift according to the blocks in the back. I put the Bilstien shocks on right before the engine blew, so at least they are new. I really don't like the IFS lift since it's set up so I only have 1" of up travel! I can't wait to do my SAS, but I have to finish remodeling my house first.

Great looking truck. I have always liked that color green. The build looks awesome! I especially like the snow wheeling pics. Hope all is well and your build progress continues.
CHEERS!

I've been doing a little bit of snow wheeling. This video is me driving on about 4 feet of snow. It's packed but pretty warm out so I kept breaking into it, but it wasn't a match for the Toyota!
