hey man, sweet ride! I hope mine can look like that one day, I have done a lot to it but still so far to go. I have a question for you about your a/c condenser. I ordered an OEM one from denso, where do the liquid lines from the drier hook up to it? On the top or the bottom? I know one of the lines goes to the drier from the evaporator, where does the one from the drier to condensor hook up to?

I'm not sure if it was definitely blown, or just some other internal failure.. the voice coil got separated though.. kinda strange.. my whole system in my bug is type-r and I cant kill it if i tried!

I hear ya on the "trying year so far" end, Blake.... But yes,....all is well. Good to hear you're doing well

I have switched to Gates, simply because I've had quite a few problems with "Hecho en Mexico" parts, like Goodyear Belts/a Steering pump, etc. I'm sure it might not be an issue.... but I figure why not grab the USA parts when I can(that is, if they're not parts I want to be solely Japanese! lol)...

My Goodyear main belt is still holding up fine after 10K.... I'll just roll with it til it's done, lol.(Have spare Gates belts in my storage cubby in the back panels)

Nice! I'm just sticking to oem because my discount keeps it basically as cheap as aftermarket. I help the parts guys out when I can. They hooked me up with a new window crank to go with the belts, so I can't complain.

Yea chef, so far... My grandpa got diag'd with pancreatic cancer on my birthday in September. He passed out of no where in February, my other grandpa had a stroke just before that. And my uncle went into the hospital for insanely high out of control blood sugar last week. Wtf!? I guess I got all the bad for the year out of the way early.

Oh wow! I'm very sorry for your losses, Blake.... Had no idea.... Guess I was getting a feeling things were a bit off for you for a bit.... Sorry to hear why, man!

Yeah, you'd THINK that "guess I got it all out of the way" had something to it, right?..... and I'm not trying to Jinx ya... , but that's not always the case. Just stay strong and healthy as possible and try to serve others as much as you can.... it REALLY helps us to deal with this heavy stuff when it INEVITABLY happens, ya know? I've had LOTS of buddies who just 'couldn't be bothered'... ya know what I mean? But they ALL suffered the worst when it was too late to 'be there', if ya know what I mean? Of course..... some people just can't handle the infirmities of life..... I get that too.... But we should face it head on, because, well, after all......... WE'LL ALL BE THERE, one day or another, right?

Keep up the good work, Blake.... And again, I'm really sorry for the loss and trials you're facing recently!
