Update
new used back window motor
replaced the broken plastic fascia and replaced one of the lights, re wired it and coated the inside where it used to be rust (but should've been chrome) with tinfoil lol and new bulbs
put pink lights in the marker side, making it more reddish...
finished tearing up our garage foundation before we start building the carriage house
got a drop hitch from my boss, first use, take the wave runner on the 4runner to the lake.

i want to pull off the rest of the chrome trim on the gutters flat black the chrome on the window (until the window gets replaced and i get the black rubber seal) and eventualy black out the chrome bumper. or buy a black one)

rad was pretty dinged up and green on the corners and had floppy fins... so figured ill take the rad out of mach and also want to transfer the ac from the white 87 too.(daughter calls it betty white) should be easier with the motor in the air than it would be with it under the hood.

well we thought it was gonna be an easy wam bam kinda job. buuut. after seeing how much broken plastic and milky oil there was in this block. we decided against the short road, and decided to do this right.
took the block and head to the machine shop and got it back today.
nice and shiny.
needs new bearings. pretty warn from p.o. running that milk for so long.

Wow you have done a lot of work on this ride. A lot of it seamed like such small annoying stuff, stuff that makes other people give up on a car. Good job sorting it all out man.
Getting that fresh engine in is going to feel sweet!

also cleaned up the valves and seats, only to find the intakes were clean and well seated and all the exhausts from both trucks were burnt and pitted. so engnbldr it is.
