Finally got rid of the chrome trim due to a rock chip on the highway. I had safelite replace with universal molding. I think it looks 10 times better

Working on getting the body ready for paint. One major dent is holding me up. I’m attempting to do as cheap as possible to avoid cutting and welding in.

I really like that. I need a new windshield for my '85 and that moulding looks nice. Also this thread is posted in the wrong forum.

A forum moderator will have to move it.

I know you don't want to cut and weld, but I remeber a guy got an original Toyota part from Amayama, and that part was one those little corners you are working on it. He restored a pickup. I tried to find that part number but I didn't have any luck, and after the photobucket disaster I couldn't see his thread photos again, anyway the member's not active in the forum since a few years.
his thread is in this forum:
http://forums.hpoc.co.uk/forum/8-modifications/
and his got the part from here if I remember correctly:
https://www.amayama.com/en

Nice looking runner. To pull the dent out I would remove the tail light and use a pry bar to help push the dent out. The curved part of a pry bar might get in behind it to help get it started to move in the right direction so that you can work it some more with the tools you have and then start with body filler. I will move yo to the correct section.

Thanks for the advise fellas. I will probably end up cutting and welding if the above doesn’t work. Also thanks for moving me to the correct thread.
