I think I'm getting pretty good mileage from it city is around 340km per tank and my last 4x4 trip was 1hr away and spent 2hrs wheeling and I did 386km. Both were about 56 L of fuel.

If you have a manual like mine at some time consider 5.29s. Our stock gearing could match. Mine came stock with 4.30's.

I can cruise in 4th at around 80kmh-50mph at 2700rpm with my current set up.

My spedometre is accurate. It's perfect.

After I get my body panels I'll definitely look into getting that.

Are you referring to our use of the vastly superior metric system?

Are you getting fibreglass panels?

Things are going good there Chef. I've seen how busy you've been.

Reno is getting close to being done. I'm looking forward to putting up some photos.

I'd like to get some but at this point I'd take anything. Even a parts truck that's not totally rusted out. My rust isn't too bad but I have been getting harassed by the cops about it so I did some bondo work and black paint to get them off my case. Ill post some pics later today

I have this odd squeal that developed in my passenger side tire area. It doesn't sound like metalic and does it mostly in reverse when you first start rolling then it goes away.

It soounds like a rubbery squeak from rubbing as the wheel starts rolling. It surges as well like something rubbing while spinning and contact isn't even. My CV boots are not ripped or anything. It's weird.

No idea what it could be.

Sounds like driveline. Going to look at replacing the Ujoints.

Sorry man.... I. Know all to well about squeaky stuff! Once I restored the IFS completely, I was shocked how quiet it was. I never replace the front u joint, not until recently, and obviously considering all I was doing... But I did replace the rear u-joints, and what I thought was my vibrating hum coming from that in fact was not. Now I'm sure I will have new squeaks and clunks to deal with. Lol.....

Best to you on this one I hope you find it quick.

Pretty sure we got it narrowed down. I'll have to take her to the shop. Only weeks to go before the move and the house isn't done yet.

Just placed an order for this bumper. The missus pointed out that we need one because I can't move that 35" tire around all the time like I did last trip.

TAG had the parts in stock and replied to me quickly so I went ahead with it. The guy helping me was really nice so if the bumper is half as good as the customer service I'll be happy.

Next thing will be seats.

I was pretty close to getting one of those, but I already had the Marlin front and decided to match. Looking forward to seeing it installed on your wagon. Where's this trip you guys are taking?

We are leaving Yellowknife and moving back to British Columbia. We're not sure where yet. Depends on where the missus finds work. She has a line on a job on Vancouver Island which we have our heart set on.

It ticks every box. Within 4 hrs of where I grew up, beautiful and an affordable cost of living so I can try and start my own business. It doesn't look like I'll be able to scaffold again at the moment.

Anyway, we have no plan. If she gets the job it will be a 4 to 6 week trip. I'd like to head down into America. If she doesn't get the job definitely into America. She'll stay unemployed until she finds the perfect job in a small town somewhere. If that happens great, California, Nevada. I've been showing her some photos of some 4x4 meccas.

For sure Washington state so I can go get that Blazeland kit installed. I'll know more soon. She has quit so last day is Sept 23rd and we have to be out of the house at the end of the month.

Going to have fun either way.

i always loved the TAG bumpers but heard tons of bad reviews. hope it works out for you and post up tons of pictures of the bumper. it seems like no one has it and if they do, dont post much pictures of it. TAG pix are tiny,i guess so people cant copy it but still if your gonna spend $$ you wanna see what your paying for lol

I did read some but you always hear more bad than good. I've also read in the same threads opinions from people who had a good experience.

I've let him know that I am moving and to let me know if there will be any issue so I'm sure it's going to be great. I'll not be here to receive it if it's not shipped by a certain date.

I'll be sure to be one of the people posting something positive when it turns out great.

I just found photos of my truck on the Cascadia Roof Top Tent website. I sent them to DiamondRax and told him to use them. He I believe has a great relationship with Cascadia so I assume he sent them on over. I think it's kinda cool.

Other people have their Yotas in there too. I am really glad I bought that tent. It's seriously comfortable and when I was sleeping in it is when I had herniated a disk weeks before. I still had a great sleep. It's not your mattress at home but best camping sleep ever.

That bumper looks like it offers quite a bit of protection!

If you look closely in the cargo bay left side, you can see the red ratchet strap holding my spare 35" tire down.

So glad this year it will be outside.
