89 Yoyo Build

Hi guys, i just picked up this pickup about 2 weeks ago! It's my fourth vehicle but my first yota and i must admit, i'm loving it so far! This build will probably move slowly because i'm only 17 and moneys hard to come by, but i'll soon have it where i want it! Thanks for looking!

Decided to clean up underneath it and paint a few things!

I was running some good mudclaw radial m/t but one of them had a huge knot on it so i just decided to buy some new tires instead!

Paint was chipping around my back window so i decided to touch it up with some spray on bedliner!

Did the same thing with the grille!

Dis-assembled most of the inside and sprayed it with bedliner! looks alot better than it did, plan to do it to the rest later on. Also put in a new radio

Needed some new shocks and got a heck of a deal on them, now i just need to find time to put them on!

Got a toolbox, it looks good and i figured it'd come in handy to keep stuff in since there isn't much room in these trucks. Probably gonna order a CB antenna and mount tomorrow night just for looks, may get a CB radio later on!

Thanks man! Overall it's pretty spotless. I've got 2 or 3 minor rust spots on the drivers door i'm gonna have to take care of but that's it. I love the color on it too, if and when i repaint it i'll probably keep it that color.

I just saw the new pics you put on. I really like to look of it with the new tires! Its funny how little things like a toolbox can make a truck look even better.

Yeah, i really like the look the new tires and toolbox give it. I'm trying to decide whether to buy a back bumper for it or just leave it the way it is. I kind of like the way it looks without it but i can't make my mind up!

I have removed the rear bumper from every 3rd gen I ever owned. I love the clean look it gives them when not there. I think the only thin I would replace it with would be maybe a TG bumper.

That's what i was thinking too. I'm for sure getting a TG front bumper later on. Haven't decided on the back one, i might see if one of my buddys can weld up something that'll look nice to save me a few bucks haha
