So this may be the start of the addiction for my daughter. A friend gave me a 87 extra cab it has the typical body rust. But the frame and cab is solid. My question is. I need replacement parts. Front fenders, bed sides, and rear passengers rocker/ can corner panel. I have found some fiberglass ones but it's her first car and was hoping to find some cheaper. And I can not find a cab corner replacement at all. Not a huge deal I do have some skills and can make one but want to save some time.

 

Welcome to Yotatech. I have gotten CAPA certified parts off of ebay and they work great. There are some vendors that sell used parts on here as well that will ship. If you are located in the rust belt, shipping is going is the way you will need to get most of your parts. I have done some traveling myself for parts. Looking forward to your build. Got any pictures. I am restoring an extra cab as well.

 

Thanks for the input. I've tried to find bed sides or a bed on eBay with no luck but I have not put that much time and thought into it yet. We don't have the extra money yet. But would like to get prices.
