Since he works at Toyota, I would take the whole Throttle Body to them and see if they could set it for him (hint, hint, lol) Maybe one of those guys could whip it out in no time. After all of the trouble I had setting one, if I ever deal with one again, it will be too soon. Some say it is easy but it wasn't for me.

You had a four **** in your previous post, so I corrected it so you don't get flagged. Just trying to keep you out of trouble. I couldn't tell if it was you or the sensor flagging you.

I think I might have found that strange sound. I came out to the truck yesterday and noticed some fluid on the ground i have only ran the truck for about 10 mins since I've reconected everything. And I kinda looked at the thermostat housing and noticed it was kinda wet. I think the strange water flow noise was coolant spraying out of the thermostat housing so I'm gonna go get a new thermostat. Does any one know if the housing or the pipe that sits on the housing can get warped and should there be a gasket there my 95 did not have a gasket there either

Have to drill it out and extract it,or....get another lower intake.if I were you I'd take my chances and run jb weld and the other bolt.

So your saying to connect the broken bolt together with Jb and then use the other bolt still ?

Get the square type easy out. The spiral one is brittle and I have broken them into a stud and that makes the situation worse. The spiral easy outs should be outlawed in my opinion.

Success my dad helped me we got the bolt out with a square easy out I got the pipe back on with new bolt new thermostat and new o ring drove it atoubd the neighborhood for a little bit run in good the engine with randomly kinda have a rough shake with no change in in the idle. For now it will be my dd again there are a lot of seals to replace and the clutch should be done most likely so trying to get these things taken care of before winter gets here

I just let it run for a good half hour just to try and regulate it a little better. I don't notice a surging idle any more I left a little play on the tps so I could rotate it while it was connected and running and Im pretty sure I got it dialed in. It's running right around 900 rpms and 170℉ so that's about spot on if I'm correct. There is one thing about the idle on this truck that I don't understand most cars I have started after not running start out with a higher idle and usually slows down as it warns up. My truck has never done that I don't know if it's the cold start injector of if it has always been happy with the temp outside but even in like 45 degree weather it still just idled smooth when started. In the heat it would have a more hard time starting and have a rough idle at first and pick up as it warmed up . Today tho after doing everything I just did it started great with a little high idle so I adjusted the idle screw and it was happy right at 850 - 900 rpms.

I have ideas that I'm not to sure if I should even worry about.
Should I check my timing after replacing the tps?

Should I get a new o2 sensor if I was throwing a code for it even tho I'm pretty sure it was throwing a code because of the tps.( I only put denso sensors in this truck)

Rich conditions? Gas tank , fuel filter and injectors? Any other thing that should be checked/ replaced

Freakin thieves. I support brutal punishment for that like they do overseas. You will need a window from 84-88 to work. I am pretty sure the next generation of trucks is not interchangeable.
