Nice. It's 4WD isn't it? I believe a prerunner is when you have a 2WD truck built on a 4WD chassis. I don't think they made prerunners in 1986 but I'm possibly wrong. It looks like you'd need the 4WD with that white stuff (can't remember the term for it since we don't have any.)

The guy I bought it from got it from Cali and had said it was used to race in the desert. And it's a project of mine. Thanks for the replay what do you think of the old girl and what els do you know abut Prerunners? Oh and they did make thim in 86

As I said, I'm probably wrong but I googled Prerunners and found an 87 build on Tacoma World. It is 2WD:

I've seen it said many times here that a Prerunner is a 2WD on a 4WD frame. It looked like you had 4WD badges on yours. I'd much rather have a 4WD! Anyway enjoy the build link. Happy New Year!

My truck is acting up
It will start but shut off after a minute or so and won't start agen tell the Next day I think it's the carb but I'm not sure can any one help

I am not much help on carbs but would suggest going with the Webber. These factory carbs are usually just so worn out from my experience. The Webber gets rid of a lot of vacuum hoses and cleans up under the hood. If your carb is good then I wouldn't replace it.
