chris, i'll try and grab those stickers for you.

the wheels are a little ridiculous. he got a great deal on the iroks, so he went that route... it is built though: HP60 locked with chromos, 9"/70 hybrid rear locked, linked, fox 2.0s up front, bilsteins out back, bumpers and sliders...

Mikey your 4Runner looks wicked with the doors off. Do I see a set of four tube doors in your future? Judging by how your passengers were bracing themselve's in those pictures, you could use a set!

PSSS If your post doesn't work instead of making 3 more posts to tell us about it click on Edit in the lower right corner of your post and fix it instead of posting again.

thanks for the kind words guys. i finally got the shock mounts done in the rear... (1 AM) threw on some 14" bilsteins, but will probably go to a 12" shock in the future. pics should be up tomorrow. hopefully they don't look like poo in the daytime... and i'm pretty sure one is a little off. oh well.

just got back from the Rubicon... the 4Runner did pretty well, aside from the tranny/t-case continuing to give me problems. 5-speed swap is happening ASAP. anyways, once i get some good pics from my friends i'll post them up.

man your 4runner looks great! one of these days mine will grow up like yours.

let me know when you start to tackle the 5 speed swap. I too am just about to start mine. Here are just some links for you concerning the swap. you probably have already read them or don't need to but just thought i'd help.

thanks for the links. i appreciate it.

a little update... two of my friends are working on videos for the Rubicon trip, so i'll post those up when they're ready. went out to Pismo yesterday, so i got to test out the suspension setup a bit. i need more up travel in the rear, as i did a little damage to a bilstein. other than that, she actually rides pretty nice. through the small whoops it was smooth, but i definitely need more for the bigger stuff. i did manage to bend my front axle, which sucks. and i think my motor mounts are toast. oh well, part of the hobby.

doesn't get much better than this...

look a little bent?

Mikey, your upper rear shock mounts look good. How hard on the shock rubbers is it when the axle is at full twist? My brother mounted his shocks in that orientation and I think he may have rotated the mounts 90 degrees about their axis because they were hard on the shock bushings. In other words, rather than having the bolts run from side-to-side on the truck, his run front-to-rear now.

Are you bottoming on your shocks now in the rear or did you bumpstop it? It doesn't look like there's a lot of shaft showing the pictures, but maybe I'm hilucinating.

That's a real bummer about bending your housing! Knuckle ball gussets next time? I have sworn off Pismo now that I have a SA - just not the right place for it.

thanks clint. it's not as hard on the shock rubbers as i thought, but it still uses them. i plan on running a 2.0 with rod ends eventually, so i figured these $35 bilsteins will be okay for now... i only have ~4" of compression in the shocks right now, but i'm stepping down to 12" travel shocks, so i should be closer to 6-7" at that point. no bumpstops yet, but soon. yeah, sucks about the housing... especially when i was planning on gusseting the balls once summer started. ha ha. oh well, you live you learn. SFA is no reason to swear off pismo. i had more fun out there with a SFA than i ever did IFS. it's all about spring rate and shock valving...
