4RunnerKid's 1993 4Runner Build-Up Thread

Dave would be proud.well a buddy and i spent a few hours last night trying to get the body "straight" once again... it looks much better now, but still looks like it took a spill. not much i can do about it, just need to accept that it's a rock crawler and these things will happen...
i managed to banana my rear d-shaft once again (starting to lose count) at JV as well. up until now i've had a buddy retube it for me each time with whatever cheap tube we could get a hold on... i'm done half-assing it at this point, so i ordered up a driveshaft from Davez Off-Road. great service, KILLER price, and .190 wall tubing... perfect.

amidst all the destruction, the UM06s held up great. i was bound up a few times, tried to drive out of the flop, etc. and they just took it. i'm very pleased with my purchase. if they can handle JV, they should handle most anything else.

Did you work at Napa? I used to always see your 4runner parked there, but never saw you in there. By the way, my 4runner would look hideous parked in front of yours.

not going to have them on in time for Pismo... getting the wheels this weekend, so early next week they should be mounted up.
might have to upgrade the bling meter at some point... thanks for the reminder clint.
