Probably gonna run some 34's maybe 33's Depends on how much overall lift i gain. But I am trying to stay away from the 35's because I don't want to have to take out all the plastic etc. I am either looking at powder coating my stock rims or getting some AR 15" rims as well. Depends on if I want to change the backspacing.

Don't want to hijack but
I have one with 4.10 I won't be needing anymore with a.d.d. 100 plus shipping and if shipped grayhound should be pretty cheap and there in 3 days.

Probably get a better response if you pm him. And heres more pictures of what I did today. Installed the oil pan and rebolted the diff and put the front grill on. The chrome on the bumper looks bad with the black grill but luckily I have an ARB waiting to be put on.. just gotta get that winch

Well, I decided to scrap rebuilding the 3.0 and I am going to swap in a diesel I think, and at the same time convert it to a manual tranny. Then I will have some more torque as well. Now I am wondering where I can get a diesel hilux motor and all the stuff I need to get this done. Anyone have a link on any threads on this?

sounds good

just my opinion, but I'm not liking the whole mesh grille. I really don't like how you can see right through it and see all the radiator and stuff. Oh well, better airflow I guess

PS check out the diesel swap section of this forum-

2L-t Would be better than 2l, I've heard a 2l in a 4runner can be a real dog.

timing done

Got my timing done today and I removed the stripes off the side of the truck, looks really nice with the running boards, mud flaps, and stripes removed. Heres some pics of the timing situation.
