1991 Single Cab Pickup Build

Alright I have asked a couple of questions to the forum and I decided I need to make just a build topic in the build topic section. So here it is. I bought my truck about 5 months ago. I found her in the middle of a horse ranch rotting away. Previous owner replaced engine I have no idea why but the bad engine is in the back of the pickup. Which ends up being a life saver later. She wasn't running due to no fuel to the rail. After a couple of hours of research I found out it was an unpluged open circut relay and no air duct going to mass air flow sensor....... I dropped tank and cleaned it out, replaced oil and let her rip. She sounds good with no muffler but loud is not my style.

I just bought a set of toyota straight axels and I'm up in the air to do an SAS or wait to buy a 4 runner for my family. Honestly I find it hard to cut IFS off a working 4x4 truck. If I'm going to do that kind of work I'm going to buy a 2 wheel drive and make it into a 4x4 with the axels. I dont know. What do you guys think?

2wd frame is pretty much a SFA frame. Easier to throw a soild axle under it and keep it low than an IFS frame. Only thing you would need is trans/t-case and custom crossmember for 4wd. Do it and post pictures!

Plus the cut floorboard, front springs, rear springs and axle, additional rims and tires, shocks, etc etc

If you're wanting to wheel a family rig, just trade your truck for a 4runner. Thats what I would do.

Not a good pic. Guys wants 250.00. Good buy how do I tell. Toyota axels. Looks like someone had it with a 4 link so someone had it with heavy wheeling..... should I buy them. Missing locking hubs. Everthing else looks like its there.

That's a good deal for $250, I think. Around me, they go for $300 or so a piece! If you already have manual hubs on your IFS, then it shouldn't be an issue.
