Carrier bearing bracket has been removed.

Rear driveshaft is in but the front is a no-go. The end that bolts to the transfer case was wrong. They sent out another today so I should be able to install it next week.

FINALLY!!
Redrilled t-case flange

Well, the second shaft didnt fit either. After some back and forth and remeasuring, I decided to send in my t case flange to make sure that I would have something that worked this time. This wasn't a big deal since it needed to come off to replace the seal. It was determined that I had the "1 in 100" and nothing would bolt up directly...so the decision was made to redrill my flange. So...now...progress.

That's all for now.

Not sure if your US 4cyl engines sit further forward like the Australian petrols and diesels but both shafts used in those are perfect length. I used those in mine with no issues whatsoever

Just a few more loose ends to tie up and then I'll see about doing a driving video.

Very true, I've already been told I should just put straight pipes on it...not really what I want though.

As some of you may have noticed in some of my videos...the engine had a tick to it.

Well...I found it.

Woops...swapped it out and have put about 700 miles on the truck in the past week and it has been a blast.

In case anyone wants to know...it's averaging about 16-17 mpg at the moment without 5th gear.

I'm (slowly) doing a sbc swap, I can't suck anything through the fuel line, so I'm going to have to drop the tank to see what's going on. I noticed Summit has 19 gal tank....I can't remember, but I was thinking my tank is 17. Be nice to have a larger tank, especially since I'm dropping the factory one anyway. I'm expecting to find exactly what you found with yours.

Great to see it on the road

Was wondering if it would be possible to post a couple of pics of your engine mounts? I've just realised after 3.5 years that mine were actually in back to front which explains why they were so tight on the rubber mounts. I spun them around but now the sump is fowling on the front diff
