trdwssrs's 1985 truck build up thread
I didn't get the 82 I was going to trade for the 260Z, BUT I had a guy that I knew just happen to be selling his truck. Luckily he had not put it in a bargain trader or advertized it yet. So here are some pics of it I took last night... couldn't wait to get them up, but I will get better ones of it today if I get home before dark. The seats are ones I have never seen in a Toyota before. they are adjustable bucket seats with the SR5 design in the middle. I am getting Mastercraft seats, so should I keep these rare seats or sale them? Also selling the 35x15.50 mud grapplers and the 15x10 Xtreme alloy 1079's if you’re interested. If I could just sale my 04 Tacoma I could get started on this project!

It has 230,000 on it, but has a 93 22RE motor(so he said) needs a new front and rear bumper..but that’s no problem since I will be getting pre-fabs. Clear coat is popping off, but its original, and need exhaust rings where the manifold and the header meet. ok, so it need some work, but I Like it!

But overall I am pleased with it!

I wouldn't sell those tires!!! Those look BA . Looks like a good truck. Can't wait to see more pics of it

they do look sweet, but i am a Super Swamper guy. always have and prolly always will be.

sure do. It need restoring. Looks bad, but overall pretty solid. may need floor pans. It is for sale...

I like the truck. Very aggressive looking. Post more pics when you can. x2 on not selling the tires though. The SR5 seats are also nice. If you really want to sell the seats, let me know.

Dope looking truck! But don't ditch the 260z. There's only ONE thing that bugs me about my 84... the agility and top speed. SO what do I drive when I get the speed bug?

sell those tires!!!! unless you want to stay in third gear your whole life! i run 33x10.50's and struggle up hill in 5th, cant imagine what you gotta do. is it geared down?

It does have gears...but dont know what size...It does pretty good tho! The guy I bought it from said "4.sumthins"
I've got it to 80mph before. Gonna run them til I get lockers later.
The tires are for sale...I'm gonna go 35x13.50 Krawlers!

..also put in a solid back glass, new tail lights and MC bumper (rear).

ARB bumper (front), but not sure if i like it...
