I think the speakers I have for behind the front seats are 6x9. I'm mainly trying to avoid a box or a big speaker in the panels behind the rear seats. I don't want something that I'm going to have to watch out for every time I put stuff in the back. My 150 sounds pretty much like any other stock truck.

Got the transfer case mount cleaned and painted. Looks almost brand new. I assume it's still good to use because the rubber still looks good and it's still attached to both pieces. I wanted to get a new one to see if it will help with vibrations but they are a lot of $$$.

From: Bryan Tx,
I need a new mount all together, my rubber is split and it is clearly sagging in the middle. Yours looks great!

Thanks guys. I actually didn't have head gasket issue. It was me being a little over reactive I guess. All is good on the head gasket.

Anyways got my stuff for MC and TG this week. MC actually came in before TG. That was a first. I installed the other shift spring and detent bolts, TG flanges, and MC rear out put seal on the front drive shaft output. Also I went ahead and placed a order for a new transfer case gasket at the dealer and they got the wrong one. So I went with the FIPIG. Is this stuff ok to use or should I use the Ultra Grey? Should I use this on the output flange nuts?

New detent bolts. The shift spring and detent ball are located inside the bolt hole.

New front and rear output flanges

I assume I need to apply the FIPIG or Ultra grey around the base of the threads on the output flange. Does that sound right??

If I can get away with using the FIPIG or Ultra Grey this thing should be back on the road this weekend.

Alright after a little research I decided to go ahead and use the FIPIG. So far so good. I do have one problem and it's the fitment of the twin shifter in the stock hole cut into the tunnel. The right stick rub right up against the tunnel. When I turn the truck on it sounds horrible cause of the vibrations. Anyone have any idea on what's going on? I'm thinking it's normal and I'm just going to have to do some trimming.

forgot to mention that I can not pull the right stick all the way back without cutting up the tunnel.

I figured we were going to have to do some trimming to get that second shifter to fit. Doesn't look like you are going to have to do much though. I would trim enough to allow for the body to clex also.

Sorry man forgot to post about the FIPG. It will be fine. I also use it on the splines. Just to be sure it doesn't leak throught them.

Good to hear about the FIPIG. I'm a little pissed I have to trim to make this fit. I might go at it tomorrow if I get some free time. I do know that it's going to look like crap and may have a gap on the driver's side. I did some test fitting with the boot and it doesn't cover both side with the way they are positioned now. I'll see if I can use the old metal trim ring and boot to cover up the gap.

can you flip the arms, or bend them instead of trimming? Just a thought.

there's also this twin-stick set-up, which might fit better in your tight confines

or this one

The arms are curved the same so swamping them wouldn't do anything and I don't know if I could bend them with out messing them up.

ya to late now to switch sticks. Plus I got the one from TG when it was on sale for $100 bucks. I think I can live now with having to cut the tunnel.

Well after a 2 month wait I got my no side windows soft topper in (maybe the only no side window soft topper for a 4runner in the world WoooooooooooooooooooooooW). Had it installed in about 2 hours. The top was really taut and it all most seemed like I was going to break it while I was snapping the last couple buttons. Any ways I'm pleased so far with it. I'll be able to really score it come spring time. Here are some pics. I think it looks cool also.
