hey guys
well i have started my build
i have a ton of plans
the truck should be getting a paintjob this week or next, all by me. So i have a 85 supra also but she has a 7m in her and i needed somthing to put the 5mge i just built into.
the 5mge has 199 hp and 203 TQ at the crank! stock is 150ish this aint stock though this was on a motor dyno also
the mods on the motor include
OS valves
bored 30 over
knife edeged crank
gude cams
camry alt upgraded alt basically
timing was 15 degrees BTDC and more then 20 on the dizzy
i had to run 93 to avoid pinging
never knocked or pinged under load
and a few other fun things
this is a rev monster this will be a great replacement over the sad little 22re

so i found this truck, shes in terriable shape so ill give her a new life

also UPDATE the bed is soo rusted out it cant be used
soooooo flatbed here we come
kinda sad cause i like long beds O WELL
the new color will be gloss white
i picked up the paint so just doing the prep work curently
after the paint job the 5m goes in then iill wire her up and get her running
then move on to the suspension and breaks etc..........

so today i pulled the drag link bar off and ordered a rebuild kit.
then i took the steering arm off and accidently dropped a washer in the little hole so above the steering arm so now i need to pull the whole front driver side wheel assembly off and redo it grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
so im hopeing to have it painted this week

 

For what it is worth I think the flares look great.

well update truck cab is completly sanded down
im going to be buying the paint
im really considering gloss white
after the paint its smoooth sailing
also pulling the front axel
shes going to get a check up
anyone know if there is a online tsrm
i need to see what the preload specs are

 

just discovered my truck is a rare SR5 woo hooo
no power windows through

 

 

so i wont be using the cab now
i found an 86 truck only RWD that i plan to use
it will give me a little extra room
i still plan to run bucket seats though
