Yota's 82 pickup

A friend of mine decided last month that instead of selling this truck to strangers, he was going to give it to me instead. I graciously accepted.
We decided to name him carl. lol i dont know why but it was funny.

this is where he's been sitting for the last 2 yrs infront of my friends parents place.

also attached the inner walls of the bed off the 85 to a pallet and attached that onto the frame to cover up all the mess that was the frame haha.

What a generous friend you have there. Good luck in restoring the truck.

brakes and slave were locked when i got it. i put gas in it and it started. runs and now drives. smokes a bit. less when warm. p/o says it heats up after a long drive. so coolant flush and a new carb would be nice.
