Hello dirtdobber.. I can understand. I know how that goes. lol
Thanks yotaman85..I have been doing some small things, nothing picture worthy. Trying to get the shop where I can work in it without the doors open and cold has been taking the funds. Soon as I can get the shop up to speed. Things should take off.

OOOOh, Wifey-Wars! ........hehehe, jk.
I was sooooo stoked when my neighbor put in all new lights and then came by and said, "Hey, want all these?"... 4, 4x fluorescent bars. I put one in the work room and one in the garage, ....still have to install 2 of them in optimal places(Probably gonna hang it lower/over the hood area/donated craftsman work bench....Donated from the same guy).
Hey Terry, are you insulating/inner paneling the shed? Did I miss that? If so, sorry.

Hello Chef.. That is a long range plan to get it insulated. It as 20 degress today and I have a heater and it just wasnt able to keep up with the cold coming in.
My shop is made of corrugated tin and there was alot of gaps that I could see light coming thru so I went and used expanding foam and got alot of the drafts sealed up.
When I lived in Tulsa, I had a shop and remember working in it when it was below 0, and that was so nice. Today I couldnt do a whole lot of anything and am about to go stir crazy being locked up in the house. We are supposed to have warmer weather coming.
Hello dirtdobber..It will be awhile before I get to the seats. Been trying to get the dash apart to get the best pieces in. Hows the weather on your side of the state? We only got an inch of snow but not far down the road guess they got quite a bit more.
The shop has turned into a project in itself. But it has been so nice not having to work out of a tool box and using air tools on hard bolts. Did get the lights hung so guess I did get something accomplished. It is taking from the funds to do the truck. I have just about run out of everything. Need primer and thinner. grrrr. Always something. But still moving forward so guess it is all good.
I already got power steering fluid on the floor.lol.. Trying to get it organized is a job in itself. Little by little it is getting more usable. Trying to con my dad into coming and wiring it up for me. He wants me to paint his truck in the spring time when he gets a few repairs done and can be with out it. So I am betting he will get it done before then. Right now I am using extention cords.

Thanks guys.. The shop, this truck and my 86 build is like 3 projects at the same time. I can get the 86 going quicker and cheaper so things have slowed down on the truck as the funds is the hold up on it. Still tinkering with a little at a time.
I like doing autobody and it does help get my fix in on it. I will be starting on it again Thursday if it is warm enough. Will get some pics of what I have gotten done on it on the roof. That is where the biggest damage is at now.
I found a 83 in the bone yard and it was missing the right fender and that is the one I need. Other than that the cab is getting straighter.

Today we are in the 20s and supposed to go lower and Thursday in the 70s. But you are right, if it doesnt get warm enough, I not going to mess with it. I cant take the cold anyways.
This week is a no spend on the projects week so I am hoping it does get warm enough. If not I am going to degrease the engine bay on the runner and can start again on the stripping of the engine bay on the truck. Guess I can do both as it is going to make a big mess.
Just got done helping a guy on his 87 extended cab at his house, outside, getting the timing set, his idle corrected, and a loose vacuum line and now I am chilled to the bone. He was really happy and concerend about his truck as it is his only ride, but being cold right now both may be put on hold. Im a wimp when it comes to cold.lol

Hello Tinman.. The no spending weeks actually work out for me. Makes me get all of the little things done that I keep putting off, like cleaning, but it also makes me use up some other materials that I have to scrounge around for.
I found enough gaskets to do the bottom end of the motor and got them all together and could still do part of another motor on top of this one. I found nearly a full roll of Peel and Seal and have been wanting to get it in. I still dont like these weeks but they do actually help out. There is always getting the tools maintained and straightened up also.
Hello dirtdobber..I miss having a bike, but I do remember getting stuck in the cold or rain on it. I wanted to get one this past summer, maybe next summer. I always enjoyed the weekend cruises I would take on it. Those were some great times. Now it would have to be on nice days to ride.

Not much been going on witht the 83, but I did get my tranny and transfer case and got it all cleaned up. Picked it up last week and just now got around to getting it posted. Also got some SR5bucket seats that I want to get cleaned up. Little by little I am still getting parts for it. Still been tinkering with it but not much progress.
