Stop by in the next couple of weeks Before I haul to the scrap yard a 1989 SR5 4x4 extend cab Pickup with a complete 3.0 (knocks) and automatic transmission. Very good left front fender, passenger door, red interior with red uncracked dash, SR5 gauge package, drivers side power mirror, bucket seats, front bumper (minus rt. corner), bed liner plus lots of small items, also, another mostly complete 3.0 (supposed to run good) with ~ 160k miles. You can not beat the prices (Free or donations accepted ) not really very interested in shipping items and No, I will not hold items so, you never show up and others miss out.. when you say another mostly complete 3.0, what do you mean? I have a 3 now, but I have a knock in the bottom end due to the PO clogging the oil pick up with copious amounts of RTV, so my guess is a bearing is spun.

 

I have a 3.0 with ~ 160,000 miles in which the P.O. said ran great But, I have taken a few small parts off. I believe the top and bottom are still good.

does it have a 4:88 rear third member?

 

How can I find out ?

 

Look at the door tag, it should be in the bottom right hand corner, it will say g292 or g144 or something to that sort. G144 is the 4.88
