2010 camaro ss build

Helping my brother turbo his camaro along with comp cam, port polish heads with new valve springs, rods, torque converter, injectors. I'm sure I'm letting some stuff out. Just got started and this is my first V8 build. I'll try to post as much as possible.

Okay, its been several weeks since I've been able to update. Took two weeks to get the heads back so we got the fuel pump, sending unit, and stall in. My brother took a few days off work to finish up. Thought today we would get the turbo and intercooler in but...guess the 80mm is too big! Had a 76mm but sold it for an 80mm and now we need the 76. Guess that's the way it goes sometimes.

Auto trans. Not sure on the boost. I would say not a whole lot a first due to seeing how the car will hook and the low profile street tires and large wheels but after the tune I think 8psi would be about right. But other things to consider is the cv axles and drive line. My brother had to get a smaller turbo and we are getting the manifold customized still. He has a good friend who can tig very well is working on that at the moment. Sorry for lack of pics. I've been busy at work and haven't spent much time on it with him lately. I wonder was its not an ls3 with the auto but a l99? After the conversion to get rid of variable timing and such it becomes ls3. The 6 speeds don't have any of that on them

Yeah I'm not sure on the differences between an ls3 and l99 but it will be interesting to see how the auto and axles hold up. I'm sure there are after market cv axles I know there were for the 03-04 cobras. But as long as a set of slicks aren't thrown on it I imagine the tires will spin before it would ever break an axle. But you never know.

I'm sure it will probably put down at least 550 on 8 lbs maybe closer to 600, a few wide open frenzies and that auto might be begging for mercy.

Appreciate the interest. I should have updates with pics up by this weekend. Transmission should be okay for a short while. Camaro5 has some turbo ls3's but I haven't read a whole lot about them on there. I'm ready to see how its going to pull on the dyno. Dyno will tell us the weak links. I will post the dyno sheet

Okay, its been months since update. Car has 600rwhp on pump gas. Had issues with torque converter and transmission shift points but its all fixed now. Getting ready to change injectors and fuel pump out, again, to run E85.
