So its a long shot, but anyone have a solid axle with 4.88 in the Monterey area. I'm also looking for a top shift reduction box to do a dual stick conversion.

Unfortunately deliver is required for several reasons, but I have no problem paying for it. I think shipping would kill any deal on an axle.

Go check local junkyard or look up "dirtoyboy" on here. He is the Toyota junk man.

 

Junk yard has no imports at all. Monterey is a nice sea side resort area nearest junk yard is almost an hour away and piss poor.

There is also the slight problem that I'm out of the country. I have people to receive parts but they really are not the junkyard scrounging type. I'm hoping to have all the parts together to tear into my rig when I get home in a few months. Its sitting in my driveway broke, I figure I need to drop the tranny and pull the front axle anyway I might as well fix it up right

 

Like I said, hit up "dirtoyboy" on his parts thread or PM him. He can get you what you need and is trustworthy.

 

I know I've ordered parts from him before. Actually I've ordered a good bit of small stuff from him. Shipping on axles is a little steep.

Im in a good location stuff pops up all the time. I just missed a set a few weeks ago. A little patience and it will work out.
