I have a 98 4runner SR5 and I am thinking about selling. I've owned since 110k. As far as I can tell I has all options except it cloth, 5 speed, and no locker. I has the tow package, Toyota brush guard and bug deflector. It's silver with mocha interior. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate the exterior about a 9 and the interior as 8-9. It has the factory premium sound.

It's got 146k on it right now. It's got about 8k since I changed the timing belt, water pump, tensioner and all the accessory belts. Belts are all goodyear. Tensioner is OEM toyota from the dealership. Waterpump is a new Durslast one from AutoZone. This was all done last December because I was getting ready to take 2 trips to Colorado. Came in handy too in 4'+ of snow in 24 hours. That's where a majority of the miles came from. I also had the tranny fluid and diff fluids changed before I went. I change my own oil. Approx 3k or less between and I valvoline max life, lucas oil stabilizer, and a fram tough guard or bosch filter. Has also had the rear suspension recall done in 2002.

Upgrades I have done is a TRD air filter and vent visors. I added a small sony amp and 10" sony p1 to it. It runs great and would love to keep it but I bought it for my ex and need to sell it to pay off some credit cards she maxed out of mine.

The bad is that it had a dent in the rear chrome bumper. Has been there since the 3rd day I had the truck. Ex backed it into a tree. It also has a cracked windshield that'll be replaced before sell. Did pass Missouri inspection twice like that though.

What's a fair price and I am willing to do some traveling for delivery for a price.

 

I didn't catch if it was a 4X4 or not? Where are you located? I'd say that $9,000 is reasonable. I might be interested here in about a month if you haven't sold it by then. Let me know.

Not for me there isn't. I've considered a 2WD for a while, but I just can't live without my 4x4. Even though it rarely gets used in the summer, or even at all, except for a few wheeling occaisions, I will pay for the extra 2MPG that I'm missing out on...

Why would you want to trade? What's wrong with yours?

The only trade I am looking at would be a partial on a cheap Wrangler/CJ 5-speed 4x4(that what my gf wants instead of an engagement ring so she can got off roading with her friends) or a sport bike. I'd still need enough cash to pay off the credit cards.

I looked for a 5-speed and could never find one, thats why I'd like to trade. Nothing is wrong at all with my Runner.
