BREAKING NEWS!!! GROUP BUY EXTENDED!!!!

Updated information from SoCal Motorsports:

Hello,

I have said this before and I’ll say it again, thank you very much for all of your support in our most recent Group Buy. The response to the ScanGauge II purchase has been amazing.

To ensure that we hit the 100 mark we have extended the GB until this Sunday (1/14/07) at 11:59:59 pm pst. Hitting the 100 mark also gets each GB participant with a $10 credit on their next (non eBay) purchase from SoCal Motorsports. Those who ordered more than 1 ScanGauge II will receive a $10 credit for each unit purchased during the GB. Please direct all questions to me at john@socalmotorsports.com. This credit can only be redeemed on orders from www.socalmotorsports.com or call-in orders to SoCal Motorsports. Moreover, the order you plan to redeem your $10 credit on must be made by the same person participating in this group buy.

Several customers have asked about the BlendMount mounting solution for the ScanGauge II. A GB for this mount will start this weekend and run through next weekend (ONLY 1 WEEK). Look for pricing tomorrow.

GB Update:

Many CC’s were charged today and the rest will be charged tomorrow. Provided that you gave us a valid email address you should expect your updated invoice with accurate pricing sometime this weekend. If you do not receive an updated invoice (PDF format) please email us early next week and we’ll send one out ASAP.

Approximate ship date from is ScanGauge mid next week. Our hope is that each customer will have their ScanGauge by 1/24 (S/H timeframe is for Cont. USA customers only – all other customers will likely get theirs 1-4 business days after that).

Thank you again and we hope you have a great weekend.

John

Thats an awesome mount for the scangauge! I'm guessing you have to purchase an extension cable for it to reach the data port under the dash? Also $60 is a little steep

That's what I was thinking about the cable too. And yeah, $60 for that frickin' mount is a bit steep.

I was reading somewhere that you can just buy a normal cat5 cable and a coupler and that will work with the scangauge. Knowing that I guess the $60 isn't TOO bad, I mean, from the pictures on the website, it looks great above the mirror. Just have to see if it will fit properly on my Tundra (Tundra's have a compass/temp console above the mirror, might not be enough space)

Probably won't fit on my truck: Another thing to consider is that this won't work with the headliner mounted mirrors on 4runners. Just don't want anyone spending $60 on something that might not fit

I haven't received my updated invoice, but before I contact John I wanted to know if anybody received this invoice or are they still forthcoming?

Thanks,

I have not gotten my invoice yet and my card has not been charged either

EDIT: Just received the invoice for $130. Hmmm, if I didn't say anything, would you have still shipped it and not sent the invoice/charged the card, I mean, I really don't need the invoice in that case, hahaha

Thanks for this awesome group buy!!!

I hope so too, but you might be too late because I think he submitted the orders today and won't be accepting any orders at the GB price.
