those r pretty good prices....i no theres one infront of the cat i was told the other is on the manifold but couldnt c it.....and which do u think went bad cuz im thoughing the p0420 i believe so thats the one on the manifold but i couldnt c it

with that code have you tried cleaning the maf sensor and resting the ecu ?

i did reset the ecu and i went off for 2days it didnt come on the first time until the day after i checked the air filter....it was pretty dusty it was a grayish instead of white so today i went and got a new filter and sum maf cleaner and reset it and we will c what happens

well it came back on today.....all 3 times its came on was on the interstate

P0420 specifies catalyst efficiency (as measured by the 02 sensor). Either the sensor is bad, or the catalytic converter died (which is unlikely on that new a truck).

But if i remember correctly, P0420 specifies pre-cat'd emissions, so it would have nothing to do with the catalytic convertor. This sensor should be on the exhaust, before the cat.

To help you look, most sensors are mounted about 1 o clock on the exhaust collector/manifold, so start there.

i found the one by the cat people were telling me there is a 2nd one also

i was told a bad cat will give off a bad smell which i dont have

ok i found the other one i got one right before the cat and one between the cat and muffler
