had a 4 runner guy check it out yesterday and he was fed up with getting raped by the fuel costs. i've never had a gas runner before (my 1st truck, 89 pathfinder, could do 500Km/tank, highway) this dude said he was getting less than 400Km/tank on his V6 (but also owned a 4 banger one and that didn't do much better) is this normal? mind you, it's been ridiculously cold too...

i was getting 500-550 to a tank in a crappy running 22re.. but I know someone who got 750 to full tank from full to dry while babying it in a 88 4x4 Pickup 5spd 22re.

y 22re must be ed up i been getting 350-400 km tops a tank 60 bucks a fill.... gonna have to investigate...

yeah man that doesnt seem normal at all. There are many things that can cause bad gas milage. In my case the truck was burning waay rich. Also try getting your fuel injectors cleaned

well apparently lots of surfs come with lsd diff... limited slip differential.
iif it like a locker that only work on level ground and is better for street...
do you know the gearing of the truck???

i believe lsd was an option for these trucks and i'm tryin to figure out how to find out if it did get it...codes??
and i'm tryin to find out stock gearing as well, never wheeled it much so it wasn't a concern for me.
