FS: 94 4Runner needs new engine

I recently had engine problems with my 4Runner. The 12 year old engine gave out at 135,000 miles and I've decided to part with the truck and get another yota. Everything else is perfect with the truck, its a great project truck.

The mechanic says that it needs new rod bearings. The rest of the truck is in good shape and it has some great new tires.

The title is clear.

Recent work (with receipts)
New alternator 1 week ago. Used for 0 miles.
New battery and tie down. Used for 0 miles.
Idler arm replacement at 128,000 miles.
Timing Belt was replaced at 120,000 miles.
Spark plugs were replaced at approx: 120,000 miles.
All bulbs were replaced 120,000 miles.
There's a little rust on the bumper the size of a golf ball, and a spot the size of a quarter over the back right wheel trim.

V6 3.0 liter 94 4Runner with 130,000 miles. Needs new engine.
Moon roof and power windows all work.
Back window does not work.
Original toyota brush guard.

4 New Bridgestone Dueler A/T REVO tires bought for 800 dollars 10,000 miles ago. Still have great tread and will last 65,000 miles more at least. I had lifetime alignment, rotation and balance and took advantage of it every 2-3k miles.

The car is in State College, PA. Great for parts or for a project truck.

You pick it up. $1000 OBO but price is negotiable.
I am selling this on other forums as well.

About 3 hours from Pittsburgh. The mechanic says that the engine is shot, the truck needs a new engine. The one benefit though, is before I knew the engine was shot, I replaced timing belt pullies, replaced the alternator, the battery, and the clutch slave cylinder. I spent approximately 1600 dollars on these repairs, but in the end, the mechanic diagnosed that the engine has irreperable problems. The mechanic said that it needs new rod bearings and it will run perfectly, I just don't have the cash to do it. I want to keep the 4runner but poppa needs tuition money. Help a college kid out, but this truck.

If you weren't so far away? I'd take it.

Could you move north? Just for a couple years?

I have offers higher than that but thanks. All the truck needs is new rod bearings and its running for some time. It runs now, just sounds like its about to shut off and causing damage so I haven't driven it at all.
