I have a front 7.5" IFS differential and rear V6 8" third member with 4.56 gears for sale from my 1990 4runner. Both front and rear are open differentials. I would like $250 obo for both.

 

i need the rear axel off an ifs truck and the front straight axle off an 85 truck

 

would those bolt into a 94 4cyl housing?

 

The rear should bolt right into the rear axle--your bolt pattern should be the same. There was some discussion on another thread here about the companion flanges being different between a 4cyl and 6cyl diff, but they were the same between my 4cyl diff and the 6cyl diff I swapped in.

Your front ought to swap straight as well, with the exception being that the 4Runner stuff might be ADD, which means you'll have to permanently move the vacuum-actuated fork on the ADD equipped axle into the locked 4wd position to allow you to use the manual hub non-ADD 4wd system. This is assuming you have non-ADD since you've got a 4cyl.

If this information isn't exceptionally clear, ask and I'll try to explain better.

Yes, I could take the tube off. I will try to get a shipping weight and price, but it may not be until early next week. I can ship from work which will be cheaper.

Rear third is 50 pounds, front is 85 with tube, so probably 70 without. UPS shipping is 27.65 for the rear and 32.47 for the front. (they would be sent in 2 packages, because anything over 70 lbs is considered overweight, and more expensive)
