feeler: clear ARB lenses?
Hope this is the correct spot for this. I have the means to produce a number of clear side marker lenses for your ARB bumper. Anyone interested? These would be what some call "crystal clear," made from automotive grade Lexan plastic.
Downside is the production of these requires a fairly substantial initial investment, by me, so I'm hoping to not lose my arse here. Not asking for a firm commitment or a guarantee that you'll buy a set, but would still like to know how many would be generally interested, and if they seemed to look decent and others were to buy one then report back that they're indeed legit, you'd also consider it.
I may entertain the idea of doing a "early bird special" though, and provide an incentive for pre-ordering these, money I'd put towards the tooling cost. Cost would be about $30 per set, here's a picture of the last run I did on these, but I hesitate to post this since these next ones will be much clearer, and better. . knowing that, what say ye?

If you could make them for TJMs too you would make a killing, everyone wants em' and all TJMs use the same lenses.
I would pay up to $40 for a set.

Making them for TJM's is definitely not out of the question, but not yet. I've already got several folks from ih8mud who have committed to buying a set for their ARB when I make more, so for now it's ARB, plus I've got my CAD design all finished, my prototype mounted and working.. just need to gain a little confidence then pull the trigger on the injection mold. All ARB lenses are the same, until just recently with the new style bumpers where the lenses look obviously different. If your lens is about 1" tall and 5" wide, then these will fit.
Obviously if they didn't fit, or you weren't happy with them for some reason, I'd take them back and refund your money.

Rocket, I had a friend help me with the CAD. I work in rapid prototyping, so I was able to run myself a couple "test parts" to prove out the design. And I'm looking at getting them injection molded at a company in Colorado Springs. How far along are you, do you have a 3D model of your tail light?
