How much modification is needed to fit the chevy springs onto a
3rd gen pickup?

New front mounts welded to your frame if it's like a 2nd Gen P/U.

My truck sees a lot of highway miles so i'm thinking 5.29s would be too low, anyhow i'm interested in the ARB and the v6 install kit shipped to 33150

Trade the ARB and gears sets for a complete FZJ HP Elocker with 4.88 gears installed including all wiring?
