89 4Runner SR5 V6 5 SPEED! New Photos Added!
SOLD!
Unfortunately, I have to sell my truck. I built this truck never to sell... but to keep. But things have changed since. So with that said, I made sure I put the best parts that I could afford and that it is safe for my family to drive around in.
It's taken me a while to build it up to what I wanted, but after doing so, I've put less than 1000 miles on it. Which is the result of having a 2 yr old son, another project car, a ton of "honey-do's", & many other hobbies. Believe it or not, I never even had the chance to take this thing off-road.
Anyway, here's it is...
1989 Toyota 4Runner SR5
V6 - 3VZE
5 SPEED
Motor:
Suspension Lift:
Wheels & Tires
Extras
Interior
Exterior
I've taken very well care of this truck. The motor and under carriage was just power washed, the rear diff had it's gasket changed and oil replaced. Oh and brakes are brand new.
The only thing this truck needs is a new Power Steering hose, it has a small leak. But again.. nothing major. She's registered but needs a smog if it stays in CA. Besides that... all it needs is a new owner that will take care of her.
I'm asking $3200 OBO. I'm willing to hear offers, just please don't low ball me too much.
I'm willing to ship out of state on your dime and if you arrange it of course.
Thanks everyone!!! I'll be posting more photos this weekend or feel free to contact me if you are interested in seeing it or just have questions. I'm in Diamond Bar (Southern California)

Thanks BigT!
Well for now, I have to finish my other project which is a 1970 Toyota Corona MKII. All it needs is paint and I'm good to go!
After I finish that, I'm thinking of getting a Pick Up instead of the Runner. It's a bit hard to load lumber and such from the local Home Depot with the Runner.

Yeah I can't wait to get a pick up. I hate having to ask my friends to borrow theirs all the time.
I hope she sells... we'lll see. I have the top, but since it's summer, I figure Topless is the way to go.

why not spend 200$ on a used roof rack to load lumber on top of your 4runner I had a old Thule bike rack and it worked great for lumber had one on the cab and the other on the hard top on top on the confer roof rack.
I could carry a load of 16 foot 2x6s with no problem.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the kind words...
The truck has been sold. The 1st person that came out to look at it took it off my hands.
Makes me sad... but I had to do what I had to do.
Thanks again everyone!
