'87 4Runner SR5

Due to tuition bills and other extraneous expenses, it looks like I'm going to have to sell my project.

Just bought this truck not long ago and have been working on it as time has permitted.

1987 4Runner SR5
5-speed Manual
134,000 miles
Four Wheel Drive with Auto Hubs
Engine runs fine as far as I know. I have not yet taken it to get inspected in Pennsylvania, but it has a New Jersey inspection sticker from last year. Idle sounds good and I've had it up to about 45mph and the engine feels strong under acceleration. I was planning on doing the normal maint. type things (Plugs, Wires, Rotor, Cap, Belts, Fluids, etc...) but have not yet got around to it.
Frame and Body are in good shape. Frame has a bit of surface rust but is solid throughout. I started going at sections of it with a wire wheel but have not gotten all the way around it. Body has small dent where p/o must have backed into something in the right rear quarter, and also has a few small rust spots. Bumper was also removed by p/o so the hitch serves as the bumper for now.
31" BFG's on stock SR5 alloys.
Interior is in great shape, no tears in seats. Has rear fold-down seat. SR5 gauge cluster and inclinometer. Everything is power, and has pop-up moonroof.
Truck comes with new calipers with new pads and hardware, and brake master cylinder. These may be installed within the next week or two, but as I've mentioned, time is just very hard to come by. Want to make it clear that brake hardware mentioned above is not currently installed, it does not have current inspection stickers, and is not yet insured, so it is not road legal.
Asking $3000. Truck is located in Abington, PA. Pics will follow soon, and if you provide an e-mail I will do my best to get some your way as soon as possible. e-mail is skitrev33@hotmail.com

Hopefully I will be able to put some pics up tomorrow. Weather was on and off here today so I didn't get a chance to get some decent ones.

if its an 87 it should be a 4 cylinder unless somebody swapped something in (doubtfull).

The 3.0 V6 came as an option in 88.

Correct. Engine is 22-re 4 cylinder, one of the only engines I've seen that hasn't left an oil stain after being stationary for a week or so.

That new link should work fine. I made sure to take some pics of the worst parts of the truck like the rust spots on the left passenger window, below the gas cap door, and the hitch. All of those spots are very simple repairs, and would touch up fine with some POR or a good sanding and some rustoleum. The one dent in the body can be seen in the picture of the rear of the truck, no idea what the story behind that is. Overall it is in great shape for a 19 year old truck from this area, and had New Jersey inspection until last year. Up on stands because I've been working on the brakes as time allows. Any questions or offers please e-mail me at skitrev33@hotmail.com. Thanks!
