2nd-gen Rear Springs or Spacer

2nd-gen Rear Springs or Spacer
Looking for aftermarket Spacers or Springs that will lift rear of 2nd-gen 4R approximately 1-1.5" above stock. I have new Moog coils, but they still didn't level the truck, so I want to swap them out for other springs or add a spacer. Thanks.

i'm getting the ome 1.5" lift spring. make sure to get the HD if you do it.
you could get a spacer, and it'd do the trick. but if you ever want to lift above where it sat off the lot, you wont be able to do it with a spacer and you'll have to buy new springs anyway.
get the lift spring. it's only $66.02: http://www.rocky-road.com/4runner.html

That's $66 per spring, right? I'm needing to spend far less than $130 total, especially considering I wasted $70 on MOOG coils
. I ran OME on my old Tacoma and really like it, but I'm going for cheap these days. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I was looking at spacers to lift the back end up too. I ruled them out.
I have the Downey 1.5 inch HD (Heavy Duty) on the rear and I really like them. If you do go with springs you will likely need to get longer shocks too, fairly soft ones if you are getting the HD coils.
I bought them straight from Downey and they weren't cheap for both shocks and coils. I came in at $342.53 to my door but IMHO well worth waiting a little bit longer instead of the spacers.

I've got a set of Downey coils I took off my truck when I did my SAS. I still have to get the brackets off the pile o' axle on the floor of the garage. Your stock shocks are fine with the coils. It doesn't lift it any it just puts it back to where it was back in the day when it came off the showroom floor. PM me if your interested. I'll let em go at a good price. I want this junk gone it's taking up too much room.
