1994 4runner, sr5 5 speed 3.0
My wife and I have decided that the 4runner isn't big enough for the 3 kids anymore, so I need to sell it. I really like it but it just doesn't work for us anymore. I'd keep it but I really can't afford to have 3 cars anymore.
The headgasket blew about a month ago, so that's been replaced with rock gaskets from enginebuilder. I also replaced the timing belt and all the gaskets on the top side as I did the headgasket. I also put a new radiator (old one was the cause of the headgasket blowing) and a new muffler and tailpipe on it. I had the valve lash set at the dealer. The front tires are new, the rears don't have may miles on them. We also had the steeering relay rod recall done and they did an alignment, so it drives nice and straight. I have the stock skidplate, it's not on it in the photos but it comes with the truck.
it has 175,000 miles on it, but the engine was installed just before we bought it, about 40,000 miles ago. After the work I've done to it it really runs better than it ever has. The 4wd works great. The cruise control quit working a while ago and the parking brake cable broke, but besides that it's mechanically sound. The CEL is on for a code 71, egr message, but it doesn't seem to effect the way it runs.
The interior is leather and nice except for a tear in the drivers seat. The paint is decent but the clearcoat is coming off the hood some. The paint also been touched up in a couple places. The body is pre-dented for your convience
I'm about 40 miles west of Kansas City. I'm asking $4500, but I'll consider any offers or a partial trade for a rough fj40 project. If you want the little mermaid keychain you'll have to negotiate with my 4 year old daughter
You can email me at n8forsberg@gmail.com
Thanks for looking. Photos:
