Going to need some major fender trimming or a few inches of lift to fit that wide a tire:

I ran them on my '85 and needed 3.5" suspension lift + 1" body lift plus moving the axle forward a few inches to just barely clear:

I was really wondering if it can be done with any amount of fender triming?

Sure, but you'll need a good deal of lift. Problem is up front, the wider the wheel/tire combination is, the wider the arc it swings while steering. If that arc intersects the arch of the wheel well, you have rubbing. Two ways to eliminate that rubbing are to lift the body far enough away from the tire to give it room to move or trim back where the rubbing occurs until there is enough room for the tire. I know from running both 33x9.50 tires on factory 15x6 rims and the 33x15.50 tires on 15x10 rims that it takes a WHOLE LOT more work to clear the wider tires; more lift, more trimming, more time testing it out then repeating the previous steps a few times

Buy a cheap body lift.
Or get some balljoint spacers and an add a leaf in the rear.
Forwarning on the AAL (Add a leaf), they ride relatively stiff. However, mine were pulled used off another truck, and they're pretty well worn in.
i have about an inch of lift.
it flexes well in the rear with AALs, too.

I would agree that cranking the tortion bars is a cheap way to lift the front BUT, I think its a very bad idea. It defeats the whole purpose of IFS. I have a 3" body and a 4" suspention lift and rides like a Cadilac. with my 35x15.50's

I think a 4" suspention lift would be enough to clear 33x15.50 $610.00 Rough Country.

ya 33x15.50's isnt gonna happen stock or with just a t-bar crank. these tires are wide as crap. lol im running bj spacers,3" body lift, and some t-bar crank and 33x13.50 swampers. im skying these tires but i think i would be rubbing the 15.50's just cause they are so fat. im considering these tires when my go out but might just buy 35's.

I ran my 33x15.50s on 10" wide rims, I think it was an ideal setup, never popped a bead, even at 1 psi in the sand.

They look great !! The recomended rim size for 15.50 wide tires are 10-12. 10's were recomended by 2 different 4x4 shops here in Tampa. and thier cheaper too.
