Its for a 1980 axle. I just need a part number maybe you have one! The dealer is the only one that has them in town.

Why not just press one out of your IFS hubs when you get the SAS done. I think they are similar studs. Otherwise, for one, the dealer part is not that bad a price, sure if you were planning to replace all 12 studs on the axle that is a different story.

Something like this should do:
Napa BK 6411286

Thread Size:M12 - 1.5
Overall Length:40 mm
Knurl Diameter:14.2 mm
Shoulder Length:8 mm
Head Marking:266
Thread Type:Right Hand

Dorman 610265 is very similar.

Unless you have something odd, Dorman 28484:

IMO the Dorman do not fit properly as the tapered area is too large (I mic'd them compared to OEM).

Considering how infrequently you have to replace wheel studs, the dealer wheel studs drop right in with no problem and secure with a few slight taps from a hammer.

I bought like 16 I think so I'd have extras if need be for the future, but I don't pay $8/each for them either.

$8 each...seriously? Still I can assure you, I searched and tried a bunch of other ones that were "close" but like I said above...OEM fit just right and drop right in as they should. Spend the money on the right ones and forgetaboutit as you probably won't ever have to replace another one.

Screw using a press man... I use a large nut that doesn't touch the thread, a lugnut and an impact gun. Pulls the splines through in about 5 seconds. It takes longer to rack a truck than it does to beat out and install a new wheel stud.
