Well im an idiot

I bought some used 94 4runner rims off the local classifieds, cleaned them up and mounted new ko2’s on. Went to mount them up tonight only to realize the back spacing is completely different. Should i cut my losses and just mount my new tires on my old steelies? Or is it worth looking into wheel spacers?

I only need about a half inch of room to clear the tie rod. Not sure if i like the idea of wheel spacers and the potential balancing/safety issues involved. 🤦‍♂️

Wheel spacers are pretty safe if you get decent ones, don't go cheap. Spidertrax are some of the best.

I’d go with spacers.

I’ve just ordered my second set from this company.

Those rims look great on there. Get some spacers. Just check them every now and then to make sure they're still tight.

Well i ended up mounting the new tires on the tried and true old steelies. Looks decent, but im going to keep these 4runner rims, probably clean em up a bit more and potentially give them a good coat of paint. The 1” trail gear spacers look appealing.
So those matched with the fresh 4runner rims should work out nicely.
But in the meantime, should i keep the steelies white, or go gloss black? 🤔

Faded and chipped white gets my vote. Dirty old trucks have a certain appeal to me.

The old steelies look better in your truck.

I think gloss or semi-gloss would look the best, but hey, I like shiny paint!
