Torn tire beads, repair, tube or trash?
I picked up a set of 35's trxus MT's for real cheap.
Upon further inspection i realized 2 of the tires have torn beads.
The first 3 pics are of one tire and the last 2 are of another.
I didnt know if anyone had any suggestions as far as possibly repairing them, or at least where i could find a tube that i could run.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ya thats what i thought, i figured the second one was toast.. but was thinking that with enough bead sealer or something the first could be repaired.
I was hoping to put em on my daily driver/ weekend warrior.

I would not tube it and jump on the highway....for a mud truck it would be ok but you tires will get real hot on the road(depends on the weather where you live)....How much did you give for them???

Thats why i was hoping to possible repair them. I had heard that about tubes.
I gave the guy 400 for 4 tires @ 60% tread and one brand new one.
A decent deal i thought if i can get even one of those 2 beads working...

The first one might hold air without a tube....Heck they all might for a lil bit but the fact of the matter is 35s on a toyota is big and if one blowes on the front and your doing 70.....thats not gonna be good!!! More of a safety deal
P.S i worked at a tire shop for 3 years so this is something im advanced in!!

They make a product called bead sealer. Any tire shop should have some, though for liability sake, they may not be willing to do this for you, you'd have to ask and see. The bead itself on those tires is good... This is the steel "ring" inside the lip of the tire. The rubber around it is what seals it, but provides no structural integrity.
Now, if using bead sealer, I would be careful for a couple weeks so you know that it is sealing correctly. After that point, I'd say go for it
