Whats a good set of steel wheels that can handle 44's? And where can i find them? I'm lookin for 16.5x10-14 Thanks guys

 

you planin on runnin military tires? and the 16.5's have a tendency to come off the beads easily, anyways ide just get a set of american racing rock crushers their pretty cheap

 

If you're running 44's, one would assume you need beadlocks.

Cheapest thing would be HMMWV beadlocks, but they're 8 lug.

Otherwise, Staz, Allied, etc.

 

I'm not worried about them coming off the bead, i wont air them down i stay out of the rocks. All my yota see's is mud, trails, and water. I ordered a set from eaton 16.5x14, im gonna see how they work. When these tires wear out im gonna go back to 15" rims.

 

I'd rather just run my tractor tires but then i couldnt drive her through town lol. That brings up a question, how come nobody rockcrawls with a set of tractor tires and rockwells?

Normally, I would say stay away from those wide wheels as they will cause more fitment issues, but you probably have way more lift and way less fender ...

 

the way i see it, more air in the tires the more chances ill float lol. I've always liked the looks of a super wide tire, its just an aggresive look to me. I still have Plenty of fender it is just above the tire, so when im runnin 30mph and hit a deep rut my tire wont snatch amy fender off lol.

 

I had to order 3" wheel spacers just so the lugs wont rub my leaf spring in the rear. i guess i got to much backspacing on the rim =(
