Nitto 295's 2500 Mile Review

Alright, I know I just have gotten these bad boys on but, I have put down the miles, 2500 miles in 20 something days.

SNOW-3 out of 5 Went to Banner Elk and Boone North Carolina to test that condition out. Performed Decent but I dont think you would want these for a complete winter tire. But I am NOT IN THESE CONDITIONS MUCH, so you guys make your own judgement there.

Ice-Slush-4 out of 5 Have you seen the SIPING?? LOOK IN THE PIC ABOVE the only one I think is better or COMPARABLE in a snow/slush environment is the Interco TrXus MT.

Rain- 4 out of 5 WOW, is all I can say.

Mud- Not tested.

Highway- alright, " THESE TIRES RIDE EXTREMELY QUIET" Even up to 90 mph on the intersate. Im impressed.

Well I definately want you guys to speak up who have these, cause I think this TIRE or Size is gonna be the next "HOOD SCOOP envy"

Awesome looking setup you have there! Can you tell me about your suspension setup? I'm seriously thinking about raising mine up a couple of Inches, but I'm a bit hesitant.

Thats a nice runner you have. I was thinking about getting the Terragrapplers but in a 265/75R16 size.

what kind of lift are you running, and what, if any, trimming was necessary to fit the 295s?

what kind of gas mileage are you getting? I know you said earlier you didn't regear, 4.10s right?
also, did you see a noticeable loss in power. Ideally I want to be at a 33" too, again, nice looking, I like the MT rims too, look sharp with the bead/street lock.

Jason, I am getting a sluggish feel, and when up to the Mountains really REALLY sluggish, 4.88s are the next thing, I ordered some Bi-Xenon HIDs for the runner so my money is kinda already spent for mods this month(february)

I will have a full right up of my suspension pat.
I am still trying to get things right. I have a combination of OME and Toytec parts. When that picture Above was taken that was without a Body lift, I just completed a BL on Sat Feb 25. so I was clearing those with EASE without the body lift.

TRIMING a little without the BL, only in a full turn in reverse did i get scrubbing so i lightly sanded the inside corner just a tad and not really a problem on the street.

damn, so you noticed a big loss of power with the 295s vs. the stock tires? I want to go up to 33s, but I don't want to regear(super expensive), and I am still a daily driver, don't want to kill my gas mileage. Thanks for the info,

My MPGS dipped a little and I only went up one size but unfortunatly D load range carries some weight.

Cool picture. I didn't know that you can fit 295s. Are they 295/70-R16? What rims are you running?

There 295/75R16, its in his sig. I don't think Nitto makes a 295/70 tire.
